Nine Bean Soup

2 C. beans1 clove
1 T. salt1 1arge can tomatoes
Ham
juice of 1 lemon
1 large onion  

Instructions

Washed beans, cover with water and add salt.
Soak overnight.
Drain.
Put beans in 2 quarts water with ham,(I use turkey ham).
Slice onion and mince garlic.
Add to pot onions, garlic, tomatoes and lemon juice. Simmer 3 to 5 hours or all day in crock-pot.
Serve with corn Bread.
